Ojaswi Endait writes...reviewed Red Kite Adventure & Flute in the Forest.
'I am Ojaswi Endait, I had participated in the Intach poster making competition and had met you before  leaving. I have read your stories The Red Kite Adventure and the Flute In The Forest. The plot of the stories were really fabulous. The twist in the story at the end of the book Th Red Kite Adventure was really shocking but awesome at the same time. I found the descriptive work of the music of the flute in the book Flute In The Forest really heart rending and when Atiya plays the flute in the end of the book and when I come to know that the Old man is dead, I am on the verge of tears. I really like the way you write these books and I am inspired by them. I am also very eager to read The Anaishola Chronicle.

Surabhi Ganguly reviewed   The Anaishola Chronicle.

'What a wonderful and engrossing read. Your writing is so vivid, combined with my fortune of exploring similar country side in south India, it's created a very elaborate picture in my mind. Your writing also takes me back to my own discovery of nature as a little girl, at your farm, my own home and in the hills around pune. It was apt that I read the book today while I enjoy my day in the countryside, so I can appreciate the good fortune of being able to live in the outskirts of the city and take in the air and sounds that are so beautifully described by you. LOVED IT!

A charming and well written suspense novel for teens, where man and
nature co-exist, specially relevant in today’s world. Most enjoyable.

A rare glimpse into the life of tea planters in the time gone by with an
engrossing mystery story. It will enthrall both young and old. I highly

This is a little gem of a book. Amusing stories well told.

Dark old forests always give you that slightly creepy feeling
of something ancient and unknown lurking there.
Leela Broome's new book captures that feeling perfectly through
the eyes of a young teenage girl, and takes you along on an
exciting journey through the tea estates and forests of South
India. Glimpses from the past on the same tea estate pop up
from another teenager's diary from the middle of the last century.
And slowly the lives of the two teenagers, separated by two
generations, begin to mesh. With beautiful descriptions of the life
and times of present day planters, taken from her own
experiences, and sharing with readers her passion for trees and
birds and elephants, Leela weaves a gripping story with some
romance and even a skeleton! A perfect read for young teens,
and an entertaining story for adults too!

A great story of the imagination with the real.
The HighWavys is one of the most beautiful of tea plantations
in Tamilnadu; amidst gorgeous jungles and plenty of wild life.
A must read to know the wonderful life of a tea planter and his
family.

Thank you for your reviews!
